Just some pics

So I have neglected the blog for some time.
I find it hard to blog and be pregnant. The computer gives me sickness, weird, I know, but true.
I also found that a lot of my creativeness left me living in the city. I thought I was happy and appeared to be happy, but it wasn't until I found the country again that I realized I wasn't.
So I am starting over.
I will post some about our time in Denver, but my goal is to keep up to date here.
The perfect place to start is with my boys. Oh how they have grown.

Tallon age 11

Orrin age 6

Vivin age 6

 Van age 3

Conn age 22 months

My baby school to fix Guns

Van is a bit of a spoiled child. He got to go to school with Daddy today because Mom and Conn had to go the the doctor after Conn fell off the table. Yeah, one of those great mother moments again. Van spent the rest of the day telling anyone who passed that he has a baby school to fix guns.
The kids at school were excited to have a little one in the place and it didn't take long for the to have Van all fixed up and ready for the shop. Notice the rubber band headband made by Hawaiian Johnny and the Brownell's Jr apron and belt loop toe tag donated by Georgia Chris.
Van kept himself busy with Daddy's tape measure, his own hammer and his toy gun
Just in case he got lost and needed to be returned to the rightful owner. Tyler and Chris thought they were so clever :)
Okay, seriously how cute is this. He won everyone over at the school.

Van and his Daddy both future Gunsmiths
It is hard to say who had more fun Van, Tyler, or Tyler's other kids. Either way it was a great time for all and I think the Colorado School of Trades has a new mascot.

Family Pictures 2012

We have met and enjoyed making new friendships with so many people. Our friends in the ward have truly been my saving grace. One such friend is Tamie. She befriended me early as is very dear to my heart. She has 3 boys of her own so when she offered to do our family pictures I new she would rock them. And she DID!! I love everything about them. She captured my boys in a way that shows each of their personalities and they are taken at The Stone House on the green belt that runs just behind our house. So many great memories are wrapped in these images. Thanks Tam. Love Ya!!!

Every time we stop at this light it is RED

This come from Tallon. Man did Ty and I give him a hard time. The sad thing is that I know what he meant and was trying to say. There is stop light at the top of the hill by the house and every time we get to it the light is red. Tallon has never got to go through the light without waiting. It is now a family joke.
Speaking of Tallon, lets do a little run down of some fun times he has had lately.

First we have a night at the Pepsi Center home of the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche. We have awesome neighbors who moved in in July and have a 9 year old. Tallon is in heaven. We finally have someone for him to play with. The mom works at he Pepsi Center and invited Tallon to join her and her son Zach to skate on the Avalanche ice!! How cool is that. Here he is at center ice
 With his bud Zach
All dressed up and ready to go
He had a blast. He has never ice skated before and Jennifer said he did really well. It is something he will always remember and what a chance of a life time.
On to number 2 of cool things that happen if your name is Tallon.
This my friends is Coors Field home of the Colorado Rockies
and this is Tallon's school choir singing the National Anthem at a Rockies game
see him right there, second row back second one in, in the light pants, yep right there
He and Zach posing after a song well sung
Talk about once in a life time right!!
And for a final bragging moment
Tallon was selected by his classmates to be Septembers Roadrunner of the Month
It is an award that 1student from every class gets, once month. His classmates said some really great things about Tallon and all but one of the kids to vote for him were girls. He smiles really big when you point that fact out.
Here he is with the principal Ms. Hakanson
the four 4th graders who were chosen
 Him and Me
Did I mention that he got to do all three of these things in a matter of a week.
Spoiled little stink isn't he.

Thank you Tallon!!!

When Tallon brought these home I kissed him!!
I love baseball and have heard that going to a live game is awesome. When we decided to move to Denver, the one thing I wanted to do was go to a Rockies game. Well tonight we did just that!!
 And it was
AWESOME
Vivin, Van Orrin, Tyler and Conn outside Coors Field
A fun side note here: Tyler fixed "Mr. Coors" gun at school the other day. Yes, he is that awesome.
Van, Viv, Orrin, and Me outside Coors Field

My children look good as ball players!!!

A view of downtown
When we first moved here the sight of downtown made me kinda sick. Now I love it!! There is so much personality in a big city and the buildings downtown are amazing.
In our seats and waiting for the game to begin. Being our first time and taking 4 kids with us we got there plenty early. It was fun watching them prep the field and warm up. We really got to enjoy the whole experience. The boys were excited but didn't really understand what was going on. When the game started, they got it, and they loved it.

Coors Field!! It was an amazing feeling to get my first glimpse of a MLB field!! I loved it more than anyone in the family. I just kept thinking "I can't believe I am watching a MLB game!!!"
The reason for this chance of a lifetime experience was made possible by Tallon! He joined the Westgate Choir and they sang the National Anthem.
This pic of Orrin just kills me!! He didn't really understand the game and didn't care to be there. Once the music, dancing, and excitement started he changed his mind.
Van loved the excitement of a ball game. He cheered when everyone cheered and was as into as anybody else.
Conn loved the noise and clapping. He learned to clap at the game and it is adorable. He danced to the music and really got into the excitement.
We had so much fun. Even Tyler got into the game and didn't mind all the people. It is a good thing we hit a game at the end of the season and not the beginning or we would be broke!!
Thanks Tallon for doing choir and taking us to the ball game!!
